Max Ritvo is an MFA candidate at Columbia University, where he teaches writing. His chapbook, AEONS, was selected by Jean Valentine for the Poetry Society of America's 2014 NY chapbook competition. His poetry has appeared in Best American Poetry Blog and The Yale Literary Magazine. He was nominated for a 2014 Pushcart Prize by Poets/Artists. His critical prose has appeared in The Huffington Post, Parnassus: Poetry in Review, and the Los Angeles Review of Books. His translations have appeared in Lyrikline, and he is working on an endangered language conservationproject. He is a comedian in the sketch comedy troupe His Majesty, The Baby, and an assistant editor at Parnassus.
